Another nice historic artefact recovered from the ground in the Sandbach area. This one is an ampulla, probably from @1350 to 1550. Usually used to carry holy water to sprinkle on the fields to bless the crops. These finds are being shown to give people a flavour of general wider history in the area as we continue our work on the tunnels project.
